The seminar will discuss a new approach to replace the "track" of a tracked vehicle by imaginary wheels in a multi-body dynamics model of a tracked vehicle. In the first seminar a planar model was used while in this seminar a full three-dimensional model will be presented. Validation of the novel proposal is done by comparing the results with commercial software ADAMS for both longitudinal and lateral dynamics. The limitations of the approach will also be highlighted.
