I will talk about the “big deal” about ferroelectricity in hafnia, giving a historic perspective, how we were one of the first few to actually start working on it and trying to understand it, and eventually will discuss in detail our recent results that motivates us to utilize the ferroelectricity in this system for electrocaloric cooling applications.
