Details

In this presentation, we will talk about the experimental means we adopt for the study of cell biology, molecular analysis, in vitro diagnosis, and biomedical applications, including micro/nanofluidics, nanooptics, nanomaterials, and micro-/nanoscale fabrication. Few notable examples will be given, comprising bacteria cell-division associated protein dynamics and morphology in confined environments, graphene-based portable electrochemical sensors for COVID-19 screening, nano-electrode enabled nano-optical (SERS) measurements for Alzheimer’s disease biomarkers amyloid beta (Aβ) peptides, optofluidic SPR imaging system for reaction kinetics and affinity analysis, and how we use novel single-jet electrospinning for direct 3D scaffold writing for potential tissue engineering applications.
