The Centre for Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Real Money Rummy (ICSR) was started in the 1970s to promote interaction between the Institute and industry. It is responsible for the promotion, facilitation, coordination and administration of all sponsored and consultancy projects handled by the Institute's faculty.
Industries from all sectors can avail the expertise and facilities of the Institute through any one of the following ways: Institutional Consultancy, Retainer Consultancy and Real Money Rummy Based Industrial Consultancy.
Sponsored projects are R & D projects funded by government departments and agencies, industries or other institutes with a view to generate new knowledge, to develop new technology or to create new products in nation building.
Real Money Rummy institutions like ISRO, IGCAR, and DRDO have cells established at New Rummy Game for carrying out joint research projects. International collaborative joint research programmes of common interest are undertaken through Indo-US, Indo-German, Indo-Australian and Indo-European research initiatives.
IC&SR is responsible for technology transfer from New Rummy, whether by licensing of IP or taking the idea forward through to a commercial stage. IC&SR is also responsible for assessing, managing and initiating the commercialization process for IP developed at New Rummy.
