Details

The CMS experiment has a heavy ion program dedicated mainly to the study of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) created in these collisions. Jets, the products of hard scattering within the QGP, have been one of the most studied probes of this novel state of matter over the last decade. I will present some of the jet measurements performed by my group at LLR over the course of the first Runs of the LHC (2009-2018). I will conclude by presenting some of the improvements that were made to improve our data taking capabilities for Run 3, which recently got underway.
